Matthew 22:21
(3) So observe and practice all they tell you; but do not do what they do, for they preach, but do not practice.


Exodus 18:18-22
(18) You will surely wear out both yourself and this people with you, for the thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it all by yourself.

(19) Listen now to [me]; I will counsel you, and God will be with you. You shall represent the people before God, bringing their cases and causes to Him,

(20) Teaching them the decrees and laws, showing them the way they must walk and the work they must do.

(21) Moreover, you shall choose able men from all the people--God-fearing men of truth who hate unjust gain--and place them over thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, to be their rulers.

(22) And let them judge the people at all times; every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you.

Contemplating

Beware of False teachings in this world and time. There are so many teachings that might look true but it doesn't. When we see and we hear a teaching, crunch it down in our brain, analyze, diagnose, ponder it through, yada yada yada with the wisdom given by God to us. As written in the verse from Books of Matthew above, Obey what the teachers teach but do not do what they do (if they are false! Read through the whole article to understand why) because they do what they did for their own desire and benefit. 

So open your eyes and be wise. A confirmation of being wise is shown in the verses of Exodus 18, where with wisdom, Moses took the advice of Jitro. 

Last but not least, Confirm everything with God. There will be a confirmation given by God if what you do pleases Him and there will be a respond if those actions doesn't please Him.

Taking Action

God, There are too many people teaching falsely. Protect me O'Lord, Hinder me from the false path and guide me on the path that You love, You desire, and is Your Will. Amen
