W1D2 (Week 1 Day 2) 21/03/2011

Readings:
Psalm 2
Proverbs 1:4-6
NT: Matthew 2
OT: Genesis 4-6

My Golden Verse: Genesis 4:6-7
Accepting
(6) And the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? And why do you look sad and depressed and dejected?
(7) If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

Contemplating
Sin is always upon our Doorstep. It lurks day and night like FBI, watching each and every move we make. It is waiting for a small crack of opportunity to quickly enter our heart and manipulate us to do multiply our Sin! Remember, we are SinLess people and what they want is to make us from SinLess into Sinners! As God said to Cain, you have to Defeat and Conquer Sin. So shall we!
What is Sin? Simple, Sin is basically everything that may lure us away from God and His Laws.

Sin is Seen and Unseen; It develops in us through our habits, traditions, accident, yada yada yada.

Seen Sin = Cain murdering Abel.
Unseen Sin= Adultery thoughts, Thinking of Miranda Kerr or Tom Cruise in your mind (Dirty thoughts)
These are examples of Sins!

When God tells Cain to Defeat, Conquer, and Master Sin; He is not joking. In the sense that He will be there to support us to Conquer Sin! Our God is not a God that will forsake us. What can I ask more from God? God Please just Strengthen me to Conquer Sin! 



Taking Actions
God, I Confessed my sins to You (Privately not here). I also want to surrender all the worldly sins I committed to You so that those sins will be nailed upon Your Cross. I want to Resist all Temptations to commit sins, I pray to Thee that with the Power of the Holy Spirit, I will be able to resist all temptations and sins.
