Accepting
Proverbs 1:17-18
(17) For in vain is the net spread in the sight of any bird!

(18) But [when these men set a trap for others] they are lying in wait for their own blood; they set an ambush for their own lives.

Matthew 6:1-24

Giving to the Needy

1 "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2 "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 

3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Prayer

5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

  

6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 

 

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 

8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 "This, then, is how you should pray:
"'Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us today our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.'

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

  

15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Fasting

16 "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 

 

17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 

 

18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Treasures in Heaven

19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  

20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 

 

21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.

23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Contemplating

Phiuh So happy with Today's Golden Verses... why? God wanted me to actually comment on Christian  people but I haven't been able to complete it because I haven't receive the armors yet from Him and today I did.  I won't go through much here, but I will on my ss675 Blog.

Let's start the journal: 

Proverbs 1:17-18

The illustration upon this verse is birds. it says that Birds will not fly towards a trapping net that is in front of their eyes. Then What is wrong with Sinners? Sinners actually do the other way around, they create the trap themselves and they actually walk into it with/without conscience and get tangled on their own spider web (Trap). When I read this verse, God showed me my previous mistakes before. I'll be open here, We all know that Gambling is bad right? At least I know it; but I still do it :( what a foolish thing to do right? I suffered from my own mistakes. 

Then not only that, when we are trapped, we actually open a wide opening for evil to come in, manipulate, and manifest in us. For me, I thank God that He rescued me instantly. 

Sins might be an awesome thing to do on its appearance. But is Sin Healthy to do? Why do I use healthy here? I want to use food as an illustration. Most of us know that Healthy Food doesn't taste good. But those food that taste great are usually not healthy (pretty easy example is Chinese Food). I do believe personally that those healthy food, once we adapt on it, we will fine its great taste (or maybe not hahaha but hey I believe that if it is God's Food, IT WILL BE AWESOME!) 

 

Matthew 6:1-24

What a long verse for this one :). This is a funny one though; I went out last night, with 2 of my friends namely Teddy and Yudi. I told them that God wanted me to "Dis" people who are: 

1. Claims that they are Christian but still believe in other Gods
2. Christians that were close to God but now they are away
3. Christians that are only by appearance but dead in heart
4. Christians that are always near God, speak of God but they are not mature yet
5. Christians with an Agenda

I haven't been able to complete it because I have none of the material from God and He gave it to me today, 24 verses to admonished these people. He mentioned all the things on the verse itself, Now I believe further that God will create and act accordingly at "His" own time. When we wait with faith, God will always be there for us. 

God, Today I've learned so much from You about my mistakes before, I've learned how You love me as a sinner. Now I'm a SinLess person and want to be better. So God, I rest my faith to You from now till the day You call me to enter Your kingdom. 

Taking Actions
God, If what I know is correct upon my "Time", Please help me and give me extra strength to perform even better until that time comes. Let me reach out to those in need as Your follower. Let me have all the equipment required to face others and any walls forbidding me from performing so, I ask to You Lord to grant me power to destroy it as You gave to Joshua.
