W2D3 Journal

W2D3 Journal

W2D3 (Week 2 Day 3) 30/03/2011

Readings:
Psalm9:1-10
Proverbs1:28-30
NT: Matthew 9:9-34
OT: Genesis 25-26

My Golden Verse: Matthew 9:12-13

Accepting
Matthew 9:12-13
(12) But when Jesus heard it, He replied, Those who are strong and well (healthy) have no need of a physician, but those who are weak and sick.

(13) Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy [that is, readiness to help those in trouble] and not sacrifice and sacrificial victims. For I came not to call and invite [to repentance] the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin).

Contemplating
Background story here, Jesus was gathering with the tax collectors and sinners; then the Pharisees questioned Jesus, Why He did that?

Let's start the journal:
There was the answer, it shows that our loving God "Jesus Christ" wanted to save sinners (Matthew 9:12) and not those who follow Him already. He also teaches that HEY, as "His Followers", we are enjoying a "Good Food"! What's next? According to Matthew 9:13 - Invite sinners! in broad it means the "Non-Believers" and those Who have been away from Him! (Please don't get the wrong idea of me mentioning sinners as non believers I just can't get the right word).
But please bear in mind as well, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't keep close the believers or those on the right path! we SHOULD!
He also teaches us that there is No Discrimination allowed in His Body! Good Food are meant to be shared and spread to others and not only to be enjoyed by our own selves (it is Egoistic)!
O' God please open my eyes, heart, and mind not to judge others and discriminate them. Help me Lord, Help this Helpless being :)

AMEN!

Taking Action
Lord, I rest my life and faith to You. I want to praise You, pray to You, rely to You, and I want to minister in Church as well. So Lord please guide me.

End of my W2D3.

God Bless,

SS675,
I'm a Growing Weed!
