(32) For John came to you walking in the way of an upright man in right standing with God, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the harlots did believe him; and you, even when you saw that, did not afterward change your minds and believe him [adhere to, trust in, and rely on what he told you].

Contemplating

Everyone shall believe in God no matter where you are now and in whatever situations you are in now. For those people who thinks that they are in God's wing, think again because you may be a lost sheep. For the non-believers will believe more and rely more than you believers will ever be.

 

I am reminded with the children story of the rabbit and the tortoise. We all know how the story goes and some believers can be portrayed as the rabbit in the story. You may think that you are going to win, you will be there at the finish line but as per the story, the tortoise won because of its smart tactic. Don't refer that the non-believers are using tactics to reach God no. The moral of the story is think twice and be wise; don't be arrogant because you already believe in God before the non-believers. Have you ever thought that you actually might be away from God without you even noticing it? HAve you ever thought that evil may lure you away from God? Think twice and ponder hard.

 

Lord, I believe in You and Lord help me to make people believe in You. Open the eyes of those people who thinks that they are right. Show us the way Lord. Have mercy on us.

Taking Action

Lord, strengthen me to reach the non-believers and even the believers, So they may know the real You.
